SIIM 2017, well attended, looks at future role of AI in clinical data



PARCA eNews – June 17, 2017 – The SIIM 2017 (Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine) wrapped up June 3 at the David Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. PARCA founder and board member Herman Osterwijk says it was well attended and attracted more exhibitors than last year. 

The annual meeting highlighted presentations and discussions ranging from artificial intelligence, cyber warfare to DICOMweb and even ergonomics. The keynote was delivered by Keith Dreyer, DO, PHD, FSIIM, of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University, who explored the state of clinical data science and the future of Artificial Intelligence.

SIIM represents more than 2000 healthcare professionals with interest in enterprise information and management. SIIM 2018 will be held May 31- June 2, 2018 at National Harbor, MD.
