PARCA eNews – Feb. 28, 2017 – If you missed HiMSS17, held in Orlando, Feb. 19-23, 2017, or were unable to attend some sessions you can now catch recordings of more than 200 of the sessions online.
Starting April 1, HIMSS will offer session recordings to allow the health IT industry to recap or experience the conference education for the first time.
All presentations online are available without an additional registration fee for conference attendees who purchased the full conference attendee package. For those who could not attend the conference many of the sessions are freely available on the HiMSS website, however, to access the entire catalog of recorded sessions there is a registration fee of $149.
Access includes:
- 200+ recorded general education sessions in 22 topic areas
- Original presentation audio synchronized with presenters' slides
- "Views from the Top" sessions
- Federal sessions
- Desktop and mobile-friendly streaming plus the option to download session handouts.
The recorded sessions cover a wide range of discussions including how the new administration will impact health IT, connected health’s workflow challenges and success stories, and HIT standards, certification and medical device integration.

Session recordings are eligible for continuing education and may be applied toward CAHIMS and CPHIMS and enduring credits (ACPE, CME, PDU, CNE, LLSA and others.
