HealthMyne Adds Epic EHR Data to Imaging Analytics Platform

Created by: Steven Davis-Art Director, HealthMyne
PARCA eNEWS – Nov. 17, 2015 – HealthMyne, an imaging informatics company, announced a major advance in their quantitative imaging analytics platform. Working together with Epic and University of Wisconsin Health, HealthMyne now offers radiologists unification of electronic health record (EHR) data and imaging information.

HealthMyne provides an oncology-centric unified view that brings together automated quantitative imaging data sequentially interspersed with valuable health record information such as past chemotherapy, treatment procedures, lab results, medications, smoking history, and clinical trial involvement. Automated comparison to similar cohorts allows image-based response stratification not previously possible in real-time.

Not only will the unification significantly improve clinical workflow efficiency, but more importantly, it also enables the move to a correlative, evidence-based population health model where individual patients can be assessed and treated with the beneficial insight of similar patient cohorts.

“We couldn’t be happier with the achievements made and the supportive efforts from our partners” said Praveen Sinha, CEO HealthMyne. “Radiologists will now be able to easily view imaging data together with relevant patient health record data – all within HealthMyne’s care timeline feature. This is a powerful capability that is lacking with current imaging systems.”
